Liberty Professional Billing (LPB) will offer hands-on demonstrations of its new rapid sEquence™ software at the NJ American Society of Anesthesiologists Conference on Practice Management. The 49th Annual Spring Meeting will be held March 29, 2008 at Forsgate Country Club, Jamesburg, NJ.
LPB serves several types of medical practices but specializes in anesthesia providers. The agency’s electronic anesthesia record system is provided free of charge to their billing clients. The software is also available for purchase at about one-third the cost of other specialized software options.
The new software is a perfect fit to anesthesia practices of all sizes, and it is easily customized to the unique needs of each provider. Rapid Sequence captures data from all phases of the patient experience—pre-anesthesia evaluation, pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative stages. Records can then be accessed by multiple users in multiple locations—the OR, office or even at home.
Liberty believes that this new software suite offers several important benefits to anesthesia providers. “Automated patient records are faster than handwritten ones, so there’s less time spent in documentation and more time focusing on patient care,” reports Katie Shumaker, LPB’s Business Manager. “Records are also more legible and complete—billings, efficiency and HIPPA compliance are all enhanced. One of the best features is that it’s extremely user-friendly—most anesthesia providers are proficient after just two or three procedures.”
Shumaker invites NJ ASA show attendees to stop by Liberty’s booth to learn more about the benefits of outsourcing medical billing, and to experience a hands-on demonstration of the new software suite.
